ルワンダ北部州ルリンド地区、標高1,500〜2,000mに位置するカビラ・コーヒー・ルリンド・ウォッシングステーション。

このロットは、生産者ヤンババリエ・ダマセン氏をはじめとする小規模農家が育てたレッドブルボンを使用した、ルワンダらしい透明感あふれるウォッシュドコーヒーです。

2025年に開催されたBest of Rwandaでは第6位に入賞。福岡のロースターCoffee County代表・森 光宗氏が落札したロットを分けていただきました。数あるロットの中から選ばれた、ルワンダを代表する品質のひとつです。

収穫したチェリーは完熟した実のみを丁寧に選別し、水洗処理による発酵・洗浄を経て、アフリカンベッドでじっくりと乾燥。ウォッシュドプロセスならではの透明感と、土地が育む繊細な甘さを最大限に引き出しています。

カップからはシトラスブロッサムやハイビスカスを思わせる華やかな香りに、ライムやグリーンアップルのようなみずみずしい果実味が広がります。さらにサトウキビやキャラメルなどを思わせる上品な甘さが重なり、シルキーな口当たりと長い余韻を楽しめます。

# Rwanda Kabila Coffee Rulindo Fully Washed

Located in **Rulindo District, Northern Province, Rwanda**, at an altitude of **1,500–2,000 meters**, **Kabila Coffee Rulindo CWS** produces coffees that beautifully express the clarity and elegance of Rwanda's terroir.

This lot is made from **Red Bourbon** grown by smallholder farmers, including **Yambabariye Damascene**. It is a classic Rwandan washed coffee, celebrated for its remarkable transparency, vibrant fruit character, and refined sweetness.

In the **2025 Best of Rwanda** competition, this coffee placed **6th**. This exceptional lot was generously shared with us by **Mitsumune Mori**, founder of the Fukuoka-based roastery **Coffee County**, who successfully purchased it at auction. It represents one of Rwanda's finest coffees, selected from among the country's most outstanding lots.

Only perfectly ripe cherries are carefully hand-selected before undergoing traditional washed processing. After fermentation and washing, the coffee is slowly dried on African raised beds, allowing the clean cup profile and delicate sweetness of the terroir to fully develop.

The cup opens with elegant aromas reminiscent of **citrus blossom** and **hibiscus**. Bright flavors of **lime** and **green apple** unfold with refreshing clarity, followed by refined sweetness recalling **sugarcane** and **caramel**. A silky mouthfeel carries into a long, graceful finish.

Rather than pursuing intensity alone, this coffee quietly reflects the beauty of the land from which it comes. We hope you enjoy this expression of terroir—an experience that lies at the heart of canaan's philosophy.
